Monasterio de San Miguel

The “Monasterio de San Miguel”, or the Monastery of the holy Michael, was built in 1546 by Fernando of Aragon. This building was still in use as monastery till 1897. Later, during the regime of Franco, it was used as prison. Nowadays it is in use as library and really worth a visit.
