Santa Catalina

If you are planning to go to the city Valencia, in Spain, then the Santa Catalina church and tower are worth visiting. On Tours Valencia you will find more information.

The “Iglesia y Torre de Santa Catalina”, in other words the church and the tower of the holy Catherine, were not built at the same time. The church was built in the 14th century and the tower was built in the 18th century. If you have a drink at one of the terraces at Plaza de la Reina you will have a beautiful view on the tower.

This church is only open for religious services.

Opposite of the church you will find the oldest Horchatería of Valencia,’Horchateria de Santa Catalina’. Next to that one there is also another great horchatería. These are some great places you could go if you would want to try the typical Valencian drink.
